Our Story
The Beginning
The idea for a web-series with strong female characters came about when three quirky girls all were in a female empowering show and wanted to work together. From there the three girls, spearheaded by Holly Wyder, began character development and writing a ten episode script.
Moving Forward
After having to recast one of the leads we filmed a pilot episode from the original ten episode scripts. That was relased September 2014. From there we tried to gather interest in the series and headed into pre-production for the rest of the series.
A New Start
Once we read through the series we brought in new writers and decided to take the original concept and start from the beginning. Scott Garland and Nicholas Porteous joined the writing team. For the next four months we sat in a room and planned out a six episode season which developed into what we shot
Production
August 24th was our first day of filming. We finished filming on November 28th. We had to deal with loss of actors, rescheduling, reshooting and finaces but we made it through about 15 days of filming! By the last episode we had a really solid team that worked really well together!
Now what?
We finally got all our ducks in a row after a year of hard work and steady post production. A team of great editors have put together all the amazing footage for our official relase, August 17th. We'll be releasing an episode a week and having a screening party.
